The Spanish brand Arcos offers you an ideal case for a wide variety of cuts. These 5 knives will enable you to tackle a multitude of foods, so you can feel at ease when preparing simple or complex recipes.
Each Arcos Riviera knife is forged, i.e. it is made from a solid bar of steel, which is gradually shaped. The result is a much stronger knife, with no welds to weaken it. This also increases the knife's balance, making it more pleasant to hold.
The stainless steel used is NITRUM®steel, enriched with nitrogen (manufacturer's special composition). It achieves a hardness of 57 HRC, giving you a longer-lasting cutting edge. The knives are still easy to sharpen, using a sharpening steel for example.
The stylish, ergonomic handles are made of black polyoxymethylene (POM, a material widely used in the kitchen for its durability). The 3 stainless steel rivets hold the POM and the full tang blade together. What's more, the handle is treated with Bactiproof Silver®, which prevents 99.99% of bacteria proliferation on its surface. As a result, these knives comply with American NSF hygiene standards, making them ideal for use in professional kitchens.
The case allows you to carry your equipment without hindrance. It's made from lightweight, comfortable black polyester. It has 8 slots, so you can add 3 additional knives or utensils. A flap protects the blades of your knives once they've been inserted into the case.
After use, the knives can be put in the dishwasher.
This cook's case allows you to discover the centuries-old know-how of Spanish manufacturer Arcos, in business since the middle of the 18th century. It's ideal for both professional cooks and students of hotel management. Of course, it is also suitable for the passionate amateur cook, who will appreciate the ergonomics and performance of its knives.
