Description

The Fukito chef knife for versatile cutting

The 20cm Fukito Ebony Hammered Damascus Chef's Knife is the essential knife for every chef, whether amateur or professional. Thanks to its long 20cm blade, it can perform a wide variety of tasks, such as slicing, chopping, chiseling, or cutting meat, fish and vegetables with impressive cutting precision. This versatile kitchen knife is also elegant, with its hammered damascus blade and ebony handle.

Damascus blade with superior cutting edge

The blade of the Fukito chef's knife is built around a 67-layer damascus structure, combining strength, flexibility and aesthetic appeal. The core of the blade is made from 10CR15COMOV stainless steel, a solid alloy containing around 1.05% carbon for a long-lasting cutting edge. It also contains 15% chromium, guaranteeing good corrosion resistance.

This structure enables the blade to achieve a hardness of 60 HRC, ensuring optimum edge retention and easy sharpening. Around the rigid core, 66 layers of softer stainless steel provide impact protection while creating unique ripples on the blade. The hammered top of the blade reduces food adherence, enabling smoother cuts.

With its flat edge, this knife is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users, offering clean cutting and easy insertion into food, regardless of the user.

Ebony handle for optimum grip

The handle of the Fukito damascus knife is made from ebony, a noble, dense and naturally moisture-resistant wood. Its dark color and fine grain provide an elegant contrast to the shiny side of the blade, while guaranteeing a comfortable, pleasant grip.

The oval shape of the handle ensures a stable, ergonomic grip, ideal for prolonged cutting and technical gestures. This geometry enables it to be used by both right- and left-handed users, with comfort always at its best.

A brass ring adds a decorative touch to the handle, while ensuring its junction with the bolster. The bolster and base are made of stainless steel, contributing to the knife's overall balance and robustness.

In short: a high-performance, refined chef's knife.

Taking good care of my chef's knife
