Fukito damask nakiri for vegetables
The Fukito 17cm Ebony Damascus hammered nakiri knife is the perfect ally for lovers of vegetable cuisine. Designed to slice, mince and chop vegetables with fluidity, this knife seduces with its balance, precise cutting edge and refined look. Its hammered damascus blade, ebony handle and meticulous finishing make this knife as functional as it is elegant.
A balanced, high-performance damascus blade
This Fukito damascened nakiri features a 17cm blade with a damascened steel structure. The core of the blade is made of 10CR15COMOV stainless steel, a robust alloy containing almost 1.05% carbon for hardness, and 15% chromium for corrosion resistance.
This composition enables the blade to reach a hardness of around 60 HRC, ensuring good edge retention while retaining a certain flexibility in use. The cutting edge can be finely honed for clean, precise cuts.
Around the core, 66 layers of softer stainless steel serve both to protect the blade and to offer a remarkable visual effect. The hammered top contrasts nicely with the wavy lines of the damascus, while limiting food adherence during cutting.
Theflat edge of the blade makes this nakiri ambidextrous, suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
An ebony handle for a comfortable grip
The handle of the Fukito nakiri knife is made of ebony, a dense noble wood that is naturally resistant to humidity. This precious wood, recognizable by its deep dark hue, offers a smooth, refined feel, perfect for prolonged use.
It is oval-cut, to suit all hand sizes and ensure a stable ambidextrous grip. This handle is always comfortable.
A brass ring adds an aesthetic touch while solidifying the blade/handle junction. The stainless steel bolster and base ensure the knife's overall balance and durability.
In short: a sharp edge and an assertive style.
