Looking for a small, lightweight fruit and vegetable knife with a straight, sharp blade? Then it's time to invest in a Samura Damascus 67 10cmparing knife! It'll come in very handy if you're planning to slice small foods.
This Samura kitchen knife is made in China by a team of cutlery experts! In fact, there's a province in southern China that's been famous for knife-making for 1500 years.
The core of this blade is made from VG10 damascus steel, giving it perfect cutting properties: a long-lasting sharpness and excellent aggressive cutting. The knife's high carbon content (approx. 1%) makes it much stronger than the average blade on the market, raising its hardness to 61 HRC on the Rockwell scale. What's more, it is stainless and therefore highly resistant to corrosion.
The oval-shaped handle is made of black micarta with 3 rivets running through it. Micarta is a hard material, resistant to high temperatures and ambient humidity, which further enhances its durability. It's pleasant to hold, won't slip out of your hand, and won't absorb food odors.
Care:
We do not recommend a dishwasher. While the damascus blade is made of stainless steel, the core of the blade contains a high carbon content that is susceptible to corrosion. Opt for hand-washing, followed by immediate drying with a soft cloth. Then store in a dry place. This will preserve its original appearance over time. We recommend regular sharpening with a 3000/8000 Sharpening stone.
Thanks to its materials and workmanship, this knife is the ideal companion and an excellent economical option to an elite damask for decoration in any kitchen.
