Description

Easy-care PP handle

This set contains the following 3 knives:

- 1 12cm paring knife

- 1 santoku knife 17cm

- 1 nakiri knife 17cm

These knives have handles made of polypropylene (PP), a resin appreciated for its lightness, strength and resistance to water and grease. This material is ideal for kitchen knives, as it is easy to clean.

Satake knives have oval handles, designed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. This ergonomic shape offers optimal comfort when cutting, making the knives ideal for prolonged sessions and reducing fatigue.

The handles are connected to the blades by stainless steel rings. These attach the handles securely to the blades' tang, giving them optimum balance and a perfect seal.

Versatile, efficient blades

Knives feature a molybdenum- and vanadium-reinforced stainless steel blade, which increases their resistance to impact and corrosion. Reaching a hardness of 57 HRC on the Rockwell scale, this alloy ensures knives with long-lasting sharpness, while remaining easy to sharpen.

When necessary, you can sharpen your knives with a stone or sharpen them daily with a sharpening gun to maintain optimum sharpness. This hardness ensures an excellent balance between cutting efficiency and ease of maintenance.

Satake knives should only be washed by hand with a soft sponge. Dry immediately after washing and store in a dry place such as the cardboard box. They are not dishwasher-safe and should not be soaked in the sink.
