A Universal knife with a damascus blade

This Universal knife is ideal for a wide range of cutting tasks! Its small blade enables you to carry out small jobs requiring precision, on fruit and vegetables for example. You can also use it on small pieces of boneless meat.

The blade of this knife has a damascened structure: several layers of flexible steel are superimposed around a rigid steel core. Here, 66 layers of stainless steel have been added.

Here, the core of your blade is made of Japanese VG10 steel, an alloy enriched with around 1% carbon. This element increases the blade's hardness to 60HRC on the Rockwell scale. In addition, this alloy is enriched with chromium and molybdenum for greater resistance to corrosion.

With this hardness, the cutting edge can be easily maintained with a Sharpening stone, or more regularly with a Sharpening steel.

You can see the different layers of steel superimposed over the entire surface of the blade, which has also been polished.

An original handle for this damask knife

The handle is made of brown pakka wood, a composite material made from laminated wood and resin, all hot-pressed together. As a result, you benefit from the robustness of the composite and the natural look of the grain.

The handle is completed by 3 acrylic rings in different colors (honey, silver and ochre). It also features a stainless steel bolster and base.

With its almost oval shape, this kitchen knife is suitable for the hands of all cooks, whether right- or left-handed! It offers an ergonomic grip that's comfortable for long kitchen sessions.

To care for your knife, we recommend washing it by hand only. Once cleaned, dry it immediately to remove all moisture and store it in a dry place. Do not put it in the dishwasher, or let it soak in the sink.
