This Samura knife is designed in China by a team of cutlery experts! Indeed, one of China southern provinces has been known for knife-making for 1500 years.
Looking for a great multi-purpose knife with a straight, sharp blade? You've come to the right place, as we can offer you the following Samura Damascus 67 24cm chef's knife!
The handle is oval-shaped. It's made of black micarta with 3 rivets running through it. Micarta is a hard material, resistant to ambient humidity and high temperatures. It's comfortable to hold, won't slip out of your hand, and won't absorb odors. So you're betting on a knife that will last over time.
Suitable for use on all types of food, the core of this blade is made from VG10 damascus steel, which gives it quite exceptional properties: long-lasting sharpness and excellent cutting performance. This knife has a high carbon content (around 1%), which makes it much stronger than the average blade on the market, with a hardness of 61 HRC on the Rockwell scale. What's more, it is stainless and therefore highly resistant to corrosion.
The knife comes in innovative packaging that includes a sheet of abrasive paper. So you can quickly sharpen the edge of your knife when you feel the need, or when you don't have the time to sharpen your knife with a stone.
Maintenance:
We do not recommend a dishwasher. If the damascus is made of stainless steel, the core of the blade contains a high carbon content that is susceptible to corrosion. Opt for hand-washing, followed by immediate drying with a soft cloth. Then store in a dry place. This will preserve its original appearance over time. We recommend regular sharpening with a 3000/8000 Sharpening stone.
With its class, efficiency and longevity, Damascus 67 is the choice of a range offering excellent value for money.
You might need a Wusaki stone to sharpen your knife! Don't hesitate to take a look!
