These knives feature dark pakka wood handles, a composite material made from laminated wood and resin, all heat-compressed. This robust material gives the handles a natural look thanks to the wood grain. The base and bolster are made of stainless steel and complement the handles harmoniously.
The handles have an oval shape that suits both left- and right-handed cooks. Their ergonomic grip is comfortable and suitable for long cutting sessions.
Kutoyama knives are made in China. They come with 5 blade guards for optimum protection.
To care for your knives, wash them exclusively by hand and dry them immediately to remove all traces of moisture before storing them in a dry place. Never put them in the dishwasher or leave them to soak in the sink.
Blades with printed damask
These 5 knives have a blade made of 4Cr13Mov stainless steel, an alloy enriched with vanadium and molybdenum. With a hardness of 56 HRC on the Rockwell scale, they have a certain flexibility that ensures they can withstand shocks and bone contact without breaking.
Blade sharpness can be maintained by Sharpening steel before daily use.
A printed damask pattern adorns the surface of the blades. The surface has been polished to a mirror-like finish.
