Kajiwara Japanese craft knives

Discover all the Kajiwara Japanese knives we've selected for you! These Japanese knives are handcrafted by artisan Tsutomu Kajiwara san, in Tosa on the Japanese island of Shikoku. He has been forging knives for decades, and currently represents the third generation of blacksmiths in his family. His level of expertise is unquestionable! Kajiwara knives are both beautiful and efficient. For example, we offer you Kajiwara forge-finished knives with a core of n°2 Blue Steel. This top-of-the-range alloy is highly enriched with carbon, increasing the wire's rigidity and working it to a razor-sharp edge that lasts. This core is then surrounded by a layer of iron, so the blade is called San Maï (3 layers). Traditional kanji are hand-applied to the sides of the cutting surface. The handle is made of polished cherry wood. It is complemented by a red Pakkawood bolster, which complements the dark, rough-forged blade. Finally, their typically Japanese look will please even the most uncompromising chefs. So choose Tsutomu Kajiwara knives, to enjoy all your everyday cutting!
